I am honored and very pleased to be the new dean of Dyson College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Education. Beginning a new position during a pandemic has presented its challenges, but I am very impressed with all the faculty, staff, and students who I have had the pleasure of meeting virtually, as well as the limited number of individuals who I have met in-person.

Christina (Gilsenan) O’Neill ’85, Communications, a wealth advisor at Wells Fargo Private Bank, New York, has been named to the Hudson River Museum’s Board of Trustees.
Jennifer J. Pacheco ’12, Biology, has been promoted to senior staff attorney at New York Legal Assistance Group and received the 2019 Advocates of New York Award for continued dedication to working with and for survivors of gender-based violence.
Sara M. Schaller ’19, MS Publishing, has completed the first in a young adult fantasy trilogy, The Genesis of Seven (The Empyrean Trilogy), published by Designs by Seraphim.

Assistant Professor of Political Science Kiku Huckle, PhD, served as a panelist on News12 Westchester’s election coverage. She spoke about polarization and continued unrest regardless of the outcomes of the US Presidential Election.
Professor of English Ebele Oseye, PhD, authored an article in Black Star News about the legacy of actor Chadwick Boseman.
